The M.S. in statistics at UAF was originally designed in collaboration with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game to supply well-trained biometricians. A quarter century later, our statistics master's program continues to offer unique opportunities to work with other departments and programs that relate to our location in the Arctic wildlife biology and fisheries, in particular.<br><br>All graduate courses in statistics are offered in hybrid format, and you can complete the degree entirely online working full- or part-time. Most of our students also take part in teaching (or research) assistantships, which provide a stipend and tuition credits.
