国际学生入学条件
We welcome applications from students who will have successfully completed a 4-year undergraduate degree. International students who have completed a 3-year undergraduate degree program need to have an MS degree to become eligible for admission. Applicants must have completed at least three semesters of calculus (at the level taught to math, physics and engineering students), one semester of matrix theory (linear algebra), and at least one semester of probability and mathematical statistics.
GPA: 3.0 and above
GRE: 60th percentile and above (quantitative), 50th percentile and above (verbal)
(International applicants): TOEFL: 80 and above (20, 20, 20, 20) or IELTS: 6.5 and above

With a Master of Statistics degree, you can advance your career in almost any field, including education, science, technology, health care, government or business.<br><br>Training in statistical modeling and modern statistical methods with a strong theoretical insights and variety of applications.<br><br>Faculty expertise: Bayesian statistics, biostatistics, stochastic modeling, spatio-temporal statistics, statistics in natural resources and ecology, social science statistics including applications in psychology, economics and education, business (business-to-business pricing), survey sampling, genomics and bioinformatics.<br><br>Degree requirements: The general requirements for receiving a master's degree are at least 30 semester hours of course work at the 7000 level or higher, of which at least 18 hours must be from the Department of Statistics at MU.
