Co-op opportunities in Mathematics and Statistics are available in combination with the sub-plans. Enrolment in these programs is limited. Selection is based on academic achievement and an interview but requires, as a minimum, submission of the on-line application by the stated deadline, and completion of a Level II Honours Mathematics and Statistics program with a Grade Point Average of at least 5.0. Information about the program and the selection procedure may be obtained from Science Career and Cooperative Education.<br>These are five-level (year) co-op programs which include two eight-month work terms which must be spent in mathematics or statistics related placements.<br>Students must be registered in a full-load and take a full academic program as prescribed, by Level and Term.<br>Students are required to complete SCIENCE 2C00 prior to the Fall term of Level III. Students are required to complete SCIENCE 3C00 before the first work placement.<br>Students must satisfy a Scientific Computing requirement, by completing one of: COMPSCI 1MD3, DATASCI 2G03, MATH 1MP3, PHYSICS 2G03. It is recommended that students in Mathematics Sub-Plan (Co-op) complete this requirement prior to their first work term.
