The Master of Science in Pure Mathematics program at DePaul University is one of the few evening programs of its type offered in the Chicago area. It provides students with rigorous training in pure mathematics as well as a solid foundation for pursuing PhD-level graduate work in mathematics. The program is intended for students whose career goals will be furthered by graduate-level training in mathematics, including students who plan to pursue a PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field, or students who wish to teach mathematics at the community college level.
