Understand, describe and model physical phenomena. Their graduates enjoy successful careers in business analytics, computer science, economics, engineering, teaching and research. A degree in mathematics also prepares students for graduate studies in mathematics and many related fields. All majors complete an individual capstone project under the direction of a faculty member. Students have opportunities to engage in undergraduate research through UD-funded summer fellowships.
