To be eligible for admission to an associate degree program at HCC, applicants must have the equivalent of one of the following: high school equivalency certificate (GED), Associate or higher degree, standard high school diploma.

English Proficiency

TOEFL score of 61 (iBT) or higher
IELTS academic overall band score of 5.5 or higher
iTEP academic score of 4.0 or higher
STEP Eiken minimum score of Grade 2A or higher
Pearson PTE academic minimum score of 46 or higher
Cambridge English: C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency, minimum score of 165 or higher
GTEC CBT score of 1051 or higher; new GTEC unified score of 1075 or higher
Duolingo English Test score of 95 or higher
Completion of Kaplan High-Intermediate Level

课程简介

The HCC Mathematics Associate in Arts degree pathway is for students who wish to pursue a bachelor's degree at a university in mathematics or a related field. The goal of the mathematics associates degree is to enhance students’ competence in the dynamic disciplines of mathematics and statistics, and includes coursework in college algebra, trigonometry and calculus I, II and III.<br><br>Courses offered by the mathematics department promote the ability to reason quantitatively in a variety of ways. Many university programs require the completion of specific courses prior to acceptance. It is the student's responsibility to contact the institution to ensure transferability.
