School Records - These are transcripts or examination certificates of satisfactory study such as A or O levels, baccalaureate, bachillerato, Reifezeugins, or other school certif-icates for all secondary and/or postsecondary coursework, along with certified, literal (ex-act) English translations for documents not originally issued in English. All official docu-ments must be sent directly from the issuing institution, examining body, evaluation ser-vice or translation service to the USC Aiken Office of Admissions.

SAT or ACT examination results - These standardized tests are optional for admission, but mandatory for potential scholarship consideration. Official and original results must be sent directly from the testing agency to the USC Aiken Office of Admissions.

TOEFL PBT - Regular Admission - A student must receive a score of 551 or better.
Provisional Admission - Students that receive a score between 500-550 may be admitted but will be required to take English 110, III, or both, English as a Second Language, in their first semester of attendance. Placement for provisional admission will be based off your Band scores.

TOEFL IBT - Regular Admission - A student must receive a score of 80 or better.
Provisional Admission - Students that receive a score between 61-79 may be admitted but will be required to take English 110, III, or both, English as a Second Language, in their first semester of attendance. Placement for provisional admission will be based off your Band scores.

IELTS - Regular Admission - A student must receive a score of 6.0 or better.
Provisional Admission - Students that receive a score between 5.5 - 6.0 may be admitted but will be required to take English 110, III, or both, English as a Second Language, in their first semester of attendance. Placement for provisional admission will be based off your Band scores.
