Applicants for admission to the Mathematical Sciences Ph.D. program will be expected to have completed an undergraduate degree with the equivalent of a bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Statistics containing an adequate background in Computer Science. Applicants with degrees in related disciplines will be considered provided the applicant demonstrates a strong mathematical proficiency. Admission to the program requires that the department find the applicant prepared to undertake study leading to the doctoral degree in mathematics.
GRE
The general GRE and math subject GRE are not required. You are still welcome to upload a GRE score report as an additional document to your application.

RECOMMENDATION LETTERS
Required - You will be required to enter the names and email addresses for two references. Recommendation letters should come from a professional or academic reference who can comment on your ability to do graduate work and your teaching potential. You do not need to enter additional references if applying for a GA position.

PERSONAL STATEMENT
Required

If applying for a GA position, you will also be required to upload a statement describing your background in mathematics/statistics, and previous teaching, tutoring, and/or grading experiences.

Applicants who have earned 9 or more letter-graded graduate credits must have a minimum graduate GPA of 3.0 or the equivalent, this graduate GPA supersedes the undergraduate GPA.

IELTS - 6.5 overall score with minimum sub-scores of 6.5 in reading and writing
TOEFL iBT - minimum overall score of 80 with minimum subscores of 18 in reading and writing
