The Master of Science degree in Kinesiology prepares students to (a) progress in a professional career in exercise and fitness, rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise, physical education teaching, community leadership, or the sports industry, and (b) embark on further graduate study in a doctoral program in Kinesiology or a related discipline. A total of 30 units are required for graduation. This Option prepares students for advancing into allied health doctoral study or professional schools (e.g. physical therapy and occupational therapy). By design, this Option enables a tailored course of study that aligns to the industry-driven, required context-specific preparation. This Option prepares students for advanced professional positions within the sports industry, and for doctoral study. These courses will be offered at the DTLA campus through the College of Professional and Global Education.
