The Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science provides specific preparation in the exercise sciences as well as a strong grounding in the biosciences and/or nutritional science. The degree may lead to graduate study in exercise science or nutritional science, entrance into professional schools in allied health professions, and employment in applied exercise science, kinesiology, or nutrition. The total number of units required for the Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science is 120 units, of which 81-83 units are in the major and 4 courses also count toward General Education. Students must earn minimum C grades in all required major courses in the core and in the option selected.
