The Department of Sport and Physical Education promotes active participation in sport and physical activity across the lifespan, and specializes in preparing future professionals in the following areas: Certified Health/Fitness Educators, Certified Physical Educators, Sport Management and Administration Professionals, Health/Fitness Leaders.This program opens doors to careers with sport teams and leagues, college athletic programs, sports and fitness clubs, parks and recreation departments, national and international amateur sport organizations, and firms specializing in sport marketing, sport sponsorship, facility management and event management.
