The Sports and Fitness Management (SFM) program is designed for those interested in the administrative aspect of sport and fitness. The purpose of the Sport and Fitness Management degree is to prepare students for both graduate studies and entry into management, marketing, and administrative positions in educational and sport business settings.The Department of Kinesiology at UAH houses programs in Exercise Science, Physical Education, Recreation and Community Leadership, and Sport and Fitness Management. The areas of study provide classroom education, practical experiences, internship opportunities, and research experience for students seeking career opportunities in coaching, education, healthcare, human performance, recreation, or sport management.
