Recreation and leisure play an increasingly important role in today's society. Recreation and Leisure is no longer considered a luxury, rather a necessity to healthy living. This program will provide you with the skills to promote healthy lifestyles and deal with societal issues, focusing on healthy communities and a comprehensive sense of enhanced quality of life. In this program, you will receive the first level of Parks and Recreation Ontario's High Five Certification and complete 430 hours of field work experience.
