Applicants without formal qualification must meet the minimum requirements of the NZMA placement assessment.

课程简介
This course will help you learn about a wide range of cookery techniques and disciplines, and gain confidence working in a commercial kitchen environment.<br><br>You’ll learn through hands-on experience and spend 80% of your time in the kitchen putting your skills into practice. You’ll have fun and learn how to prepare all kinds of tasty dishes from delicious sauces and soups through to meat and fresh seafood.<br><br>This course is delivered by The Culinary Collective, New Zealand's culinary school which is part of NZMA.<br><br>You will learn:<br>You’ll learn how to cook a range of complex dishes and presentation techniques<br><br>Learn useful communication skills with customers, colleagues, and managers<br>Learn about food safety and commercial kitchen practices<br>Gain a Food Safety Certificate<br>Learn correct procedures to safely handle knives<br>Enjoy a foodie field trip for our campus and blended learning classes<br>Get an opportunity to secure an internship to gain invaluable industry experience
