You must have completed the New Zealand Certificate in Hairdressing (Salon Support) (Level 3), or an equivalent qualification, before progressing into this qualification. During this programme, you will gain the up-to-date skills that are in demand in the commercial salon environment and build your portfolio throughout the year. You will study in our on-site hair salon and work with real clients to advance your cutting, consultation, colouring and styling techniques. This programme also includes a compulsory 90 hour work placement. You will graduate with the ability to enter directly into the third year of your apprenticeship in industry.
