This programme will open the door to a world of industry opportunities from becoming a salon stylist, a colourist or a fashion stylist to even owning your own salon. You'll further advance your professional hairdressing skills and knowledge, learn a range of cutting styles, permanent colouring techniques, reformation services, and advanced styling. You will also gain a practical understanding of the daily business needs and practices of a working salon. You will practise on real clients providing them with consultations and a quality salon experience. In addition you will complete 160 hours of work-based learning where you will gain hands-on experience while working in a range of real working salons with support from your tutors. On completion of this programme, you will need to work in a salon to complete your final credits before you can be registered as a fully qualified hairdresser.
