The Certificate in High-Speed and Intercity Rail Management, offered by the Lucas Graduate School of Business and supported by the Mineta Transportation Institute, provides graduate study in transportation management, with specialized courses on managing high-speed and intercity rail systems, from planning and design to engineering and operations. The certificate is intended primarily for professionals working in the fields of public transportation or rail who wish to enhance their qualifications for advancement and promotion, or to provide opportunities for professionals from related fields to move into rail management. The program enables students to earn 9 graduate units of course credit that may later be applied to the Master of Science in Transportation Management (MSTM) program.
