The skies could be unpredictable. But, as an air traffic control (ATC) major, you'll learn to manage the unforeseen. From radar and mapping to weather and traffic, you'll learn an array of control systems to help keep pilots and passengers safe in their travels. In the air traffic control degree program, you'll learn about aviation safety and human factors, weather, emergency cabin training, operations, aircraft models and more. And, you won't be alone in the process. Our faculty are aviation professionals with advanced academic degrees and flight instructor ratings. They're here to help you conquer your dreams-whatever they may be. This major qualifies graduates for the rATP at 1000 hours.
