SNHU is dedicated to creating new and innovative pathways for students to achieve even their loftiest goals. The Bachelor of Science in Aviation and Operations Management (AOM) degree program is designed train new pilots and prepare them to enter the commercial airline industry. AOM at Southern New Hampshire University is a 4-year program, designed to provide an immersive experience in both flight and academics. The first two years of the program focus heavily on flight instruction and training, and are primarily delivered on-site at SNHU's Aviation Center at the Nashua Airport in Nashua, NH. By the end of these two years, students should earn their Commercial Multi-Engine rating, as well as their certification as a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI). Over the next two years of the program, students will have the opportunity to build flying hours as a CFI while completing the remainder of their academic studies - either at SNHU's Manchester, NH campus or online. This presents a unique opportunity to build over 600 flight hours toward the Airline Transport Pilot certificate (ATP).
