The Military Leadership major requires 36-42 hours and leads to a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. 120 hours are necessary for graduation. The remaining credit hours are approximately 44 hours of general education courses and 34-40 hours are courses from the student’s second major or minor. A second major or minor is required. Students are encouraged to choose a second major related to their intended career objectives. Although the program prepares students to be eligible for a commission in the U.S. Army, program graduates are not required to seek commissions. In addition to prospective commissioned officers, non-commissioned officers, veterans, and non-military students seeking leadership knowledge may also be admitted to the major in Military Leadership. Priority for admission will be given to those students seeking a commission. Program admission is limited and based on student qualifications. There are no restrictions regarding age, sex, race or religious persuasions.
