Master the science and art of making your clients look and feel their best as an esthetician. Youll study the:anatomy and physiology of the skin, diseases and pharmacology, epidemiology and nutrition.<br>At Lakeland your classroom is our campus spa. Youll learn to do and practice with clients: manicures and pedicures including gel polish, facials including chemical peel and microdermabrasion,<br>body treatments such as wraps and scrubs, body waxing, makeup artistry, lash and brow tints, relaxation/hot rock massage. Youll use specialized skin care treatments and address beauty, anti-aging and stress issues.<br>Plus, youll develop communication and business skills as you help manage the student-managed spa. And most important, youll work with real clients to polish your skills.<br>Graduates from the esthetician program typically work as: health spa estheticians, resort and cruise line estheticians, medi-spa estheticians<br>makeup artists, entrepreneur and business owners, product marketing representatives, retail sales representatives
