Students must have a four-year bachelor degree from an accredited college/university. A Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale for the last 60 semester credit-hours or 90 quarter credit-hours, with an overall cumulative GPA of 2.75; A liberal arts base consisting of course content in: English language proficiency requirements: TOEFL score 550 (PBT), 79 (iBT), IELTS score of 6.5, PTE score of 53. English composition and literature; Math and Natural Sciences; Humanities; Social and/or Behavioral Sciences courses taken from a combination of Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Economics, History, Political Science, and Government;

ETSU MSW计划的目的是为学生做好自主临床实践的准备。目的,目标和课程内容就是出于这一目的而制定的。MSW计划的学习目标包括:使学生具备临床实践的知识,价值观和技能;使学生做好参与公共和私人机构内有能力和负责任的临床实践的准备;使学生做好发展和运用道德研究的准备促进和加强社会工作实践。社会工作硕士课程是社会工作教育理事会(CSWE)完全认可的课程。
The purpose of the ETSU MSW program is to prepare students for autonomous clinical practice. The goals, objectives, and course content were developed with this purpose in mind. The MSW program learning goals include the following: To prepare students with the knowledge, values, and skills of clinical practice; To prepare students to engage in competent and responsible clinical practice within public and private agencies; To prepare students to develop and use ethical research in the advancement and enhancement of social work practice. The Master of Social Work program is a fully accredited program by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). Applicants with bachelor’s degrees from accredited universities or colleges may apply for admission to the traditional, two (2)-year master’s program. The first-year foundation curriculum focuses on preparing students with a generalist social work perspective. The second-year curriculum focuses on preparing students for autonomous clinical practice.<br><br>Credits - 37
