The Bachelor of Social Work program will prepare you to engage in a practice with individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities. Graduates are qualified for entry-level positions in government, nonprofit, and for-profit social service agencies in fields such as schools, corrections, child welfare, hospitals, and the military to name a few. The LSU BSW program is currently in candidacy with the Council on Social Work Education.
