The concentration in Nonprofit Management provides students with the knowledge, the values and the skills to work effectively and to administer programs in virtually any segment of the social service community – from child welfare to health and mental health – and in a variety of programs that address a broad range of social issues from hunger and homelessness to women at risk. The Long Island University Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) program is a collaboration between the University's LIU Brooklyn and LIU Post (Brookville), with courses offered at both locations. Students may complete the M.S.W. at either Long Island University campus.
