A certificate of achievement may be earned by completing all the courses required for this major with a grade of C or better. Health and Human Service workers help people cope with life's challenges. Some get people access to food or shelter. Some comfort people in crisis. Others teach people how to stay healthy, or manage their daily lives.<br><br>Usually, they focus on specific parts of the community, like children, the homeless, veterans, people seeking or in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction, or individuals and families living with a mental health diagnosis.
