3 Letters of Recommendation Required , GRE (Graduate Record Examinations) Required , All applicants must upload a copy of their transcripts from their undergraduate institution and other previous higher education institutions. Applicants must upload a transcript for each college-level institution attended. Please do not send any hard copies of transcripts unless specifically instructed to do so by the UW-Madison Graduate School. All applicants must submit a statement of purpose/reasons for graduate study. A minimum undergraduate grade-point average (GPA) of 3.00 on the equivalent of the last 60 semester hours (approximately two years of work) or a master's degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 is required. Applicants from an international institution must demonstrate strong academic achievement comparable to a 3.00 for an undergraduate or master's degree. The required proficiency scores are: Minimum TOEFL requirement: 92 internet (iBT), 580 paper-based test (PBT), Minimum IELTS requirement: 7.0

课程简介
The effective governance of communities requires meeting a variety of policy and management challenges, and promises the rewards and satisfactions of problem-solving with neighbors and friends. Students interested in pursuing city management and urban policy analysis work with faculty in the La Follette School and in other programs such as the Law School, IRP and the departments of Urban and Regional Planning, Sociology, and Geography. Students interested in city management and urban policy can focus on a policy area within their MPA program at the La Follette School. They also can pursue a dual degree with the Law School or a double degree with the Department of Urban and Regional Planning.
