The Community and Justice Services program prepares you for an exciting career in the criminal justice system. Fast-track students complete Community and Justice Services (Correctional Worker) in four consecutive terms. Graduates will have a 1 term head start on securing employment or potentially continuing their studies in other programs. Content and learning outcomes are the same for the traditional delivery and fast track stream and graduates receive the same Ontario College Diploma. Employ all relevant static and dynamic safety and security techniques to ensure the protection of the public, staff and clients in institutional, residential, and community settings. Intervene with clients, individually and in groups, in order to address and manage barriers to promote inclusion, positive growth and personal development.
