To prepare students to meet the existing articulation agreements between community colleges and the four year undergraduate institutions to facilitate admissions, and meet the minimum requirements of a special partnership between the community colleges and law schools. According to a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with local universities and law schools, if the students achieve specific criteria such as successfully completing certain community college courses that are based on the Shultz-Zedeck Lawyering Competencies (Effectiveness Factors), support for the Students, including mentoring, pre-law activities, counseling, internships, and possibly scholarships, will be developed as part of the Initiative in order to provide Students with the best possible chance for success on the LSAT, in the law school admission process, in law school, and in the legal profession.
