Graduated from a regionally accredited high school, homeschool program or hold a GED certificate of completion, and Earned at least a 2.0 high school grade point average on a 4.0 scale, and Ranked in the top 50 percent of your high school graduating class, and Met one of these SAT or ACT score requirements: SAT prior to March 2016: 1000 (based on Critical Reading and Math combined), SAT after March 2016: 1080 (based on Evidenced Based Reading and Writing, and Math combined), ACT: 21 (or above) composite. TOEFL (iBT) test score of 79 or higher, IELTS overall band score of 6.5 or higher.

The Department of Sociology and Social Work, in partnership with the Department of History and Political Science, offers a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. Our interdisciplinary curriculum will provide you with an in-depth understanding of modern legal systems, correctional practices, national and local governments, current sociological issues, crime in contemporary and historical contexts, social research and statistics, and ethical considerations. As a student in our program, you will be encouraged to earn practical work experience through hands-on internship opportunities Upon graduation, you will be prepared for a variety of careers in government agencies, private organizations, police departments, correctional facilities and legal offices.
