Organizational studies is an interdisciplinary major leading to the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. It is designed for students who wish to study organizational behavior and structure in the public and private realms, without limiting themselves to one of the participating disciplines. The objective is to provide students with knowledge and skills which will prepare them for entry level administrative positions in both public and private organizations. A minor is required.<br>Learning Outcomes<br>Students who complete the undergraduate program in organizational studies will:<br>Demonstrate critical thinking and analytical skills by applying managerial problem-solving techniques.<br>Demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and oral forms.<br>Describe a management organization and evaluate the organizational principles, function, and practices.<br>Identify how organizations function in diverse, social, and economic contexts.
