An Associate in Arts in Journalism for Transfer (AA-T) from Skyline College is intended for students who are interested in transferring to a California State University (CSU) campus with a major in Journalism, or similar major. The Skyline Journalism Program prepares students to enter the workforce in journalism or transfer to four-year institutions as journalism majors, as well as training students to be media-literate members of the community. Students gain hands-on experience by working for The Skyline View, the student print and online publication. Students in the program also have the opportunity to pursue internships and attend professional conferences.<br>Students completing an AA-T degree are guaranteed admission to the CSU system, but not to a particular campus or major. Students transferring to a CSU campus that accepts the AA-T will be required to complete no more than 60 units after transfer to earn a bachelor's degree.
