课程简介
The Reed College of Media's MDS major allows students with an interest in specific media careers the opportunity to build a customized course of study that aligns with their goals. Through hands-on courses, students will gain professional skills that are relevant to today's - and tomorrow's - media industry. College of Media MDS majors complete at least two College of Media minors plus one College of Media shared minor or a minor outside of the College. College of Media minors include: Advertising, Entertainment Media, Event Planning, Health Promotion, Interactive Media Design (shared with the College of Creative Arts), Journalism, Public Relations, Sport Communication (shared with the College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences) and Strategic Social Media. To be accepted into the College of Media MDS program, students must have at least 29 completed earned hours and a 2.5 overall GPA. Students with a GPA less than 2.5 but greater than or equal to 2.0 may be admitted into the program after completion of JRL 215 with a grade of C- or higher. To graduate, all College of Media majors must complete a minimum of 120 credit hours.
