Your course of study will be hands-on, filled with practical assignments and internships, and taught by outstanding faculty in small class sizes. You can choose from concentrations in public, interpersonal, or organizational communication—each preparing you for graduate studies or a rewarding career in business, government, politics, public affairs, nonprofits, or the media.All communication studies undergraduate majors must take 21 credits of departmental core courses, including argumentation; human communication; intercultural communication; persuasion; presentational communication; and communication theory. You also must complete COMM 201 during your first semester in the department. From there, you will pick one of three concentrations in public, interpersonal, or organizational communication.
