Communication plays a vital role in almost every facet of life. UTSA's Master of Arts degree in Communication is a generalist program with courses focused on new media, health, organizational, international, intercultural, interpersonal, and small group communication. Students are given the opportunity for advanced study in this program, which is grounded in the concept of integrated communication. Students in the Master of Arts in Communication are encouraged to develop broad perspectives in applying research, discovery, critical thinking, and creative enterprise of individuals and groups in a variety of settings. Our faculty endeavor to develop students knowledge and skills in communication to encourage success in leadership, scholarship, and creative endeavors in business, the public sector, and non-profit environments.
