Completed at least 60 transferable units from accredited U.S. community colleges and/or universities and earned a grade of A, B, or C in English 100 or its equivalent, or
Successfully completed Level 4 of CSULB's American Language Institute's Intensive English Language Program.
IELTS - minimum score of 5.5 in each sub-section.

课程简介
Department of Communication Studies provides students with a liberal arts education in communication arts and sciences with specialized training in communication skills and practices at the baccalaureate and graduate levels. Each student is required to consult with the department undergraduate or graduate advisor as appropriate for advisement.<br>Students completing a BA degree in Communication Studies should be able to:<br><br>Describe the differences between the goals, theories, and methods of rhetorical and social scientific inquiry<br>Deliver effective messages based on the analysis of topic, audience, and context<br>Demonstrate research skills including the ability to formulate research questions, express original arguments using theory, and interpret various types of evidence<br>Engage in critical thinking with regard to message analysis<br>Explain the role of communication in the formation of individual and cultural identities and how those identities influence communication
