The Punjabi Language Program is a four-year course offered as an alternative to French to meet curriculum second language requirements. Students begin their study of Punjabi in Grade 5 and remain in the program for grades 6 and 7. Students are expected to stay in the program through grade 8. The course is based on the B.C. Punjabi as a Second Language curriculum and is taught by a teacher fluent in Punjabi.<br><br>Elementary Punjabi will be offered at the following schools pending community interest. Students from neighbouring schools may also register if space is available.
