课程简介
FLIT is an interdisciplinary program that combines major coursework in German, Russian, or Spanish with coursework related to international trade. The FLIT program requires 66 semester hours of study, and in addition to language, coursework includes macroeconomics, accounting, statistics, finance, marketing, management, and international relations. The program is designed to prepare students for a wide range of professional careers in governmental and corporate organizations. FLIT students are encouraged to study or intern abroad, and like regular language majors, they are required to complete an internship in their focus language, either domestically or internationally. No minor is required for this program, although many students choose to add either a global studies minor or an international business minor.FLIT students with some prior knowledge of their focus language can test out of lower courses and be placed into higher courses. For the courses they test out of, they can receive up to 6 credit hours, but no grades or quality points, towards completion of the major.
