The Master of Arts in French Instruction (MAFI) degree is designed for graduate students who are preparing for a career in teaching French at the high school level or at small colleges. You can tailor the M.A. coursework to your particular needs and interests. In this two-year program, the M.A. in French Instruction includes work in French language, literature, civilization, pedagogy, and applied linguistics. The MAFI degree does not include state teacher certification.
