The International Business program allows students to take an interdisciplinary, somewhat personalized approach to the study of global business. In addition to core business and university requirements, all international business majors take specialized courses in international economics, finance, management and marketing.<br><br>Students in this concentration focus on Latin America, and will study and obtain a high level of competency in a foreign language appropriate for the region. Students must also study the culture and history of the specific region.<br><br>All International Business majors are expected to participate in a study abroad experience. A series of study abroad options are available for summer, semester or a year, from a wide range of countries.<br>Students become proficient in a foreign language.<br>International business students are encouraged to minor in a business functional area such as accounting, finance, marketing or management.
