To apply for admission as an undergraduate student, each international student is required to provide the following:
A completed application for undergraduate admission.
Complete one required essay chosen from one of seven prompts.
Optional: Submit recommendation letters (academic, professional, or personal) and a Personal Statement.
Upload Secondary School Transcripts, Diplomas, Certificates, or Examination Results
For students attending a high school in the US, our admissions team uses your self-reported grades to calculate your UT core GPA.
For students attending secondary school outside the US, our admissions team will need official copies of your transcript, diploma, or certificate prior to enrollment.
Request your secondary school or counselor to send your official transcripts. Transcripts, certificates, or diplomas must come directly from the issuing school or issuing ministry or body. Official transcripts are certified copies sent directly from the authorized school official.
Submit Proof of English Proficiency -
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) or IELTS Indicator – a minimum score of 6.5.
TOEFL-IBT - overall score 70.
TOEFL-PBT - overall score 523

课程简介
The Latin American and Caribbean Studies program offers students a broad sampling of courses from numerous academic disciplines, which enables comprehensive and integrated study of Latin American and Caribbean histories, cultures, societies, politics and languages. The program also facilitates insight into the experiences of Latinos living in the US and elsewhere and prepares students to examine and critique economic, social, and political hierarchies. A major and minor are sponsored by the joint efforts of professors from such departments as Anthropology, Geography, History, Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures, Political Science, Religious Studies, and Sociology. Universal Tracking (uTrack) is an academic monitoring system designed to help students stay on track for timely graduation. In order to remain on track, students must complete the minimum requirements for each tracking semester, known as milestones. Milestones include successful completion of specified courses andor attainment of a minimum GPA. uTrack requirements only affect full-time, degree-seeking students.
