The Department of Puerto Rican and Latino Studies provides students with the critical skills to navigate a diverse and globally interdependent world through the study of Latino arts, culture, history, literature and society. You will have the opportunity to participate in internships and research at the Brooklyn College Center for Latino Studies and the CUNY Center for Puerto Rican Studies. The knowledge and experiences you gain here will position you for further education in our graduate program or for careers in government, public and private schools and universities, and the public, private and nonprofit sectors.
