国际学生入学条件

Admission to the Professional School Counseling Program requires twelve (12) semester credits in psychology, including at least one course in each of the following areas: general psychology, elementary statistics, human development, and abnormal psychology. Both introduction to psychological tests and measurement and foundations of psychological investigation are strongly recommended as prerequisites. Applicants are not required to have a teacher's license. Minimum criteria for admission to the program include a 2.75 or higher undergraduate Grade Point Average (GPA). The Pre-K-12 School Counseling concentration of the Professional School Counseling Psychology Program is designed to train competent and culturally aware counselors to support teachers, other professional personnel, and parents in addressing the needs of students from diverse backgrounds related to academic and career preparation, as well as personal growth and development. Special emphasis is placed on prevention and recognition of values and strengths.
