A minimum 3.00 grade point average (GPA) in a completed undergraduate degree program
GPA: 3.0 in the last 60 credits of upper-level work. Students with non-psychology majors may apply for admission if they have completed specific courses. See course details below
GRE: Required, scores on the verbal and quantitative sections of the GRE General Test, taken within the previous five years, are required of all applicants. There is no minimum score required. FIU offers a GRE Prep Course. *See note below on GRE scores and COVID-19
Letters of Recommendation: Required, 3 letters evaluating the applicant's potential for graduate work. The University Graduate School offers a recommendation form, though this is not required. Letters should be written on letterheador stationery
CV or Resume: Required, include previous experience, education, honors, awards, interests, community service and achievements
Two Academic Writing Samples: Required, one must be academic, and the other may be work-related
Video Statement of Intent: Required, see details below
Additional Requirements:
