The Clinical Psychology program at CMU maintains a balance between training in science and practice. Throughout their academic, clinical and research experiences students are provided with feedback, modeling and mentoring that foster the integration of current theory, research and practice. Upon graduation, students are prepared to pursue clinical or research careers.The program offers financial support for graduate students through graduate assistantships and fellowships. Students awarded graduate assistantships receive stipends and tuition scholarships. Graduate assistantship recipients may assist faculty with research, assist faculty with teaching, or independently teach a class.
