The Master of Science in Education (MSEd) in Educational Psychology with a specialization in Gifted and Talented Education is designed for students who are interested in the scholarship and practice of gifted and talented education. Students completing this program will understand the frameworks, practices, and policies for initiating and sustaining gifted and talented education programs. Students will learn techniques of assessment and selection of students for gifted and talented education, differentiated curriculum and learning designs appropriate for high-ability students, and instructional strategies focusing on inquiry learning, complex thinking, and conceptual understanding.
