Emphasizing social justice and multicultural perspectives, the Higher Education and Students Affairs Leadership program prepares you for diverse leadership opportunities in education. Top faculty lead seminar-style classes and bring their professional education leadership experience and real-world perspective to the classroom. Courses address a wide range of topics, from culture and law, to policy and finance. You'll also have opportunities to gain practical experiences in the field, under the mentorship of experienced higher education and student affairs leaders. Our program thrives on the input of students from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. UNC's Ph.D. program builds on the foundation of the master's degree, teaching you innovative ways to apply theory and research to solve real-world problems in higher education. You can pursue the doctoral degree full-time or part-time at our main campus in Greeley.
