This concentration focuses on the theoretical and applied aspects of learning, motivation, human development, personality, assessment, teaching, and evaluation in educational settings. Coursework enables students to apply psychological principles to the learning process in the classroom context during childhood and adolescence. The concentration in educational psychology may be of interest to students who are planning to attend graduate school in educational psychology, developmental psychology, or education.
