Admission to the Graduate School is open to anyone holding a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree from an accredited college or university. In cases, where a program's accrediting body allows alternate admissions standards, exceptions may be made. Applicants should have completed undergraduate or graduate work of sufficient quality and scope to enable them to successfully pursue graduate study. Baccalaureate Degree: The applicant must provide an official transcript showing that a bachelor's degree was awarded by an accredited college or university. If you are a UofM undergraduate student applying to Graduate School at UofM, you do not need to request that an official transcript be sent to Graduate Admissions. This office has access to your transcript. In addition, transcripts from any other college or university attended may be requested. Only transcripts received directly from an issuing institution are considered official. Personal copies are not acceptable as official documents.
GPA: The applicant must have earned an acceptable grade point average, typically a minimum of 2.5 on a scale of 4.0, but departments may make exceptions for students whose overall GPA does not adequately reflect their ability to succeed in their chosen field.
English proficiency test scores required by the University:
Duolingo English Test- For students affected by test center closures due to COVID-19, the University is temporarily accepting Duolingo as an alternative. 100 or higher on the overall score, all sub scores must be at least 80.
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) Institution code 1459. TOEFL - 550 or higher on the paper version, 79 or higher on the internet-based test
IELTS (International English Language Testing System- 6.0 or higher
PTE (Pearson Test of English) - 53 or higher

教育心理学与研究理学硕士课程(MS)为学生提供以下三种类型的体验:(1)为教育心理学与研究的广泛主题建立扎实的知识库,(2)开发在教育相关领域进行研究所需的基本技能,以及(3)被引入需要基本研究技能的学术和专业社区。我们的计划有两个重点:教育心理学和教育研究。教育心理学的学生可以专注于幼儿,青春期,成年和衰老领域内的人类发展,关注于不断变化的社会中这些发展过程的文化本质。学生还可以选择在学习,批判性思维,自我调节和天赋方面学习认知和动机。
The Master's of Science (M.S.) program in Educational Psychology and Research provides students with, among other things, three types of experiences: (1) building a solid knowledge base for a wide range of topics in educational psychology and research, (2) developing the basic skills required to conduct research in education-related fields, and (3) getting introduced into the academic and professional community that requires basic research skills.<br>Our program has two concentrations: Educational Psychology and Educational Research.<br>The goal of the program is individualized based on the program requirements and the student's career goal and academic aspiration. The program monitors the student's progress through not only the coursework but also the colloquium, research group participation, and annual performance evaluation.
