If you are interested in the business side of the food manufacturing, distribution or service management industries, TWU's B.S. in Food and Nutrition in Business and Industry is the major for you. While taking courses such as food science, sensory evaluation and food product development, you will also select a minor and learn about areas of management, marketing, human resources or chemistry. This program is offered at our Denton campus, with a few courses available online. TWU's Food and Nutrition in Business and Industry curriculum keeps up with changes in the food industry. Our faculty members are experts in their fields. They know the local industry leaders and invite these professionals into the classroom, allowing you to interact and establish contacts. This degree program highlights experiential learning - or learning by doing - and includes internships as well as site visits to local food service operations.
