This certificate exceeds the minimum teaching requirements for centers regulated by Title 22. It also meets the Associate Teacher Permit requirements for provision of instruction and supervision of assistant teacher-level staff in Title 5 schools. Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to design and implement curriculum based on observation and assessment of young children to support play and learning in an early childhood classroom.
